QUEENSTOWN CYCLE TRAIL

The Queenstown Cycle Trail starts in Otago’s world-renowned Wakatipu Basin.

Follow the Alps 2 Ocean cycling tour through lush farmland, vineyards, Māori rock art, and Elephant Rocks. Pass through a tunnel and arrive at Oamaru's Victorian Precinct by the Pacific Ocean. Experience the beauty of New Zealand's alpine region and coastal charm in one unforgettable journey.

Alps 2 Ocean has been picked as one of the world’s top 16 attractions by Frommer’s Travel Guides. The reputed travel publisher describes the trail as “stunning and cheerfully hospitable”, and setting the “perfect standard for awesome”.

QUEEN CHARLOTTE WALK

Tucked away at the top of the South Island is the hidden gem that is the Marlborough Sounds.

The walking track runs almost the entire length of the Queen Charlotte Sound, from Ship Cove to Anakiwa over 70km.

The terrain is undulating, with hills rising from sea level to 400 metres at the highest point.

Accompanied by a walking guide, you will enjoy learning of the early whalers and sealers and,in more recent times, the farmers and fisher folk that make their living from the land and the ocean.

Testimonials

Fantastic with the most incredible scenery!  The walk was not too hard, but we did miss hardest day. Guide’s leadership was very much appreciated as she navigated the situation with the cyclone and only had our safety in mind.

Awesome organisation – money well spent.

Queen Charlotte Walk

Thank you so much for your superb organisation of the Ben Lomond Walk.  We all had a fabulous time.  The hike was great, the landscape and views were so rewarding – along with the sense of achievement.   The Lodge was great with sumptuous food and the comforts of home.  The helicopter ride was great and a special ending to the 4 days of walking.  Lastly and of the utmost importance to us all, was our guide.  He was great with his knowledge, encouragement, and kindness to us all.
